book your session
contact coomey images to pick a date, location and time for your selected photo session.
02.
Meet up
So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick discussion to plan everything out.( applied mostly to wedding bookings)
pay a retainer to secure your date and time 10-25%
this usually happens during your engagement shoot
03.
Picture time
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.

04.
Delivering photos
In one or two weeks, you will receive your edited pictures, to see yourself in all your natural glory.
wedding images can take up to 4-6 weeks.
FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
getting your first photos taken can be scary. when you arrive at the location instead of jumping straight into we will have time to discuss what you are comfortable with and what you are not, i have a few ice breakers to start the shoot off and from there dont worry everything will flow naturally.
What should I wear?
when it comes to taking photos we like to say dress to impress. wear that beautiful dress that yu have had for years but never known where to wear it nows the time!!!
i love working with neutral colours such as black, white ,browns ( autumn colours ) so if you can wear anything that isn't bright and vibrant total bonus.
bright or vibrant colors can be distracting to the eye or even make your skin tone look completely different.
How many pictures will I receive?
depending on the session booked but on average any sessions booked that arnt wedding related you will receive 100-300 images edited in black and white and colour
wedding packages vary again but an average of 300-2000 images.
Are you available outside of Taranaki?
Coomey images are a Taranaki based photographer, how ever we are willing to travel 1-2 hours out of Taranaki district this will come with an extra cost not included in packages.

what is needed on our wedding day?
your wedding day is a very special celebration and we want to capture every little detail, once you have touched base with coomey images we will be happy to send out a list of what we need from you to set aside and what to organize to have the day flow.

before we arrive, we ask the bride and groom to set aside some of your personal items this includes
jewelry , perfume , save the date , invitation, veil, ties, shoes, bouquet , lipstick, hair accessories and any other small accessories that will be worn by bride or groom.
photo list
on your wedding day once the ceremony has ended we give the bride and groom some time to greet their guests and then get straight into a large group photo, friends group photo and then individual family photos, please supply us with a list of who will be in each image starting with brides side to the grooms ( best organize with your MC to gather the family member together to keep a good flow creating more time for bridal images)
wedding playlist.
if you have decided to do your own playlist would recommend getting those songs that bring everyone to the dance floor an hour before the photographer leaves, this gives you a handful of images of your guests out on the dance floor

location, location!
when you have booked in your package in , we recommend having a look at your time schedule and ask yourself how many images do you want of your bridal party , bride and groom one on one. these images are captured after your family photos, they take an average of 1-2 and half hours ( we dont want to rush these) so make sure your timing between ceremony and reception gives you enough time. please consider travel time to, if you have a certain location you want photos done, we also love moving around to give you a Varity of images to look back on so plan at least 1 to 2 different locations for images.
